What is Suzuka?

Training athletes who excel in world-class motorsports

Honda Racing School Suzuka is a racing school supervised by Honda Racing, aimed at developing racing riders and racing drivers who are active on the world stage.
It has a system that provides seamless instruction from school training to actual competition, aiming not only to develop riding/driving skills but also the mental strength and character needed to compete at the world’s top level for racing riders and racing drivers.


Japan plays an important role in various motorsports scenes, including research and development of high-performance machines and hosting world championships.

As a result, young people in Japan have begun to show their skills in global motorsports.

SUZUKA CIRCUIT, which has hosted 2 wheels and 4 wheels Motorsports including F1,
has been ahead of its time,
and opened the "SUZUKA CIRCUIT RACING SCHOOL JUNIOR (now HRS Suzuka Moto Class)" in 1992.
In 1993, the next-generation driver training institution
"SUZUKA CIRCUIT RACING SCHOOL KART (now HRS Suzuka Kart class) has ended its activities as of 2024."
Then, in 1995, we opened the "SUZUKA CIRCUIT RACING SCHOOL FORMULA (now HRS Suzuka Formula class)" aimed at serious formula driver training, which was the only one of its kind in Japan at the time.


Currently, it produces many athletes who are active in top categories both domestically and internationally, including Europe and Asia.

At our school, we aim to develop Riders who will excel in the IATC※1, the gateway to becoming future MotoGP™ Riders.
Many students enroll with the goal of becoming MotoGP™ Riders, but there are also those who want to learn from the basics. We provide thorough instruction on fundamentals such as braking, clutch operation, and how to use the body when leaning the bike.
For students who are serious about racing, we provide instruction not only to develop the technical skills needed to compete on the world stage but also to cultivate the ability to express themselves and communicate their own messages. We carefully assess each student’s goals and challenges and offer guidance tailored to their individual needs.
Our instructors will work together to guide you in achieving your goals, and we will also teach you to truly enjoy motorcycling as a fun sport. Please join us and let’s make that dream come true together!

The greatest appeal of the Formula class is the opportunity to run alongside Honda Racing’s top drivers who are active in various races, including Super Formula, and the fact that instructors with global experience are always watching over you. There is so much to learn here, and I believe there is no better environment to refine yourself. Additionally, the environment is set up so that you can independently identify challenges that arise at the school or issues found during races and work on improving your level.
Drivers who work hard and firmly seize results are prepared for the next higher level of the world. Even if you don’t achieve good results here, there are students who continue practicing persistently, making use of what they learned at HRS, and are still active in races today. Bet on your potential and let’s aim for the world together!

Step Up FlowAiming for the Ideal

At HRS Suzuka (Honda Racing School Suzuka), we divide into two classes: Moto for 2 wheels and Formula for 4 wheels, providing comprehensive instruction from school to real-world practice, fostering the development of Riders and Drivers. The Moto/Formula classes have a scholarship system in place, and selected Riders and Drivers who pass the screening will step up to domestic and international gateway categories. They will challenge themselves aiming for the top of the world.
