Recommended Points

The West Area has a wide view, and the fence doesn't get in the way of taking photos, so I think it's the best among the circuits that host F1!

Friday's FP1 is fun to watch while walking the West Course! To reach Spoon before the session starts, entering from the Chicane Gate is recommended! If you go to GP Square first, you'll be distracted by merchandise and lose time, so take a shortcut from the Chicane and quietly walk towards Spoon!

Find your best spot! Since the seats are not assigned, it's fun to discover hidden gems.

Recommended for those who want to enjoy walking throughout the race week. It's also nice to enjoy various viewing points in addition to fixed-point viewing.

The vinyl sheet on the grass was the best.

On Fridays, it's easy to move around freely, so I will venture out to Spoon. The exit from 200R to Spoon is parallel to the sidewalk, and while the sound pressure was greater in the past, I think the thrill comes from hearing the acceleration sound of the machines rushing by right next to you while walking!

Especially the Spoon Curve is far away, but it is a fun point to watch.

I think the charm of Spoon is that it's easy to take photos there!

It's Spoon. A cost-effective place where you can see the driver's skills in "accelerating, turning, and stopping," as well as overtaking.

The story of Spoon Curve... You can see overtakes at the Spoon dive due to the difference in traction when exiting the hairpin! I really recommend it.

I watch every year at Spoon Curve! The machines charging into the curve at top speed are incredibly powerful. The course is close to the stands, providing a great sense of presence, so I highly recommend it.

Diving into Spoon. There were crashes during the free practice, and the line through Spoon varies by car, making it very exciting.

[About belongings and preparations]

In 2019, I watched the event with just a leisure sheet! I also prepared lunch in advance!

It might be a good idea to visualize your route in advance using maps or street view. Consider which entrance to enter and which path to take. However, sometimes getting lost and accidentally arriving at a viewing area can turn out to be surprisingly good! The key is to allow plenty of time for your travel.

Leisure sheet, cushion, folding chair, FM radio, sunglasses, hat, towel, wet wipes, sunscreen, insect repellent, anti-itch cream, wound medicine, band-aids, jacket, folding umbrella (for travel), raincoat (for watching) *Pants also *Waterproof bags and shoes are recommended, a small simple folding chair is better than none♪

In 2019, I brought a folding chair. It's more comfortable than a leisure sheet. However, I think it's better to place it at the back so as not to disturb others.

Wear comfortable shoes for walking! It can get cold, so be prepared! There are fewer restaurants compared to behind the stands, so prepare for that as well! A simple mat would be convenient!

Bring a backpack & wear comfortable shoes! Watching in the West Area is like trekking!

When moving to the West Course, please wear gear that allows for easy movement. In particular, we recommend wearing athletic shoes such as running shoes.

Definitely wear comfortable shoes! Those who came in Crocs were screaming at the hairpin. I dislike the rain, but let's keep a raincoat or poncho tucked away in our bags or backpacks!

Even in October, walking to the spoon will leave you drenched in sweat. Don't forget your favorite team's or driver's towel!

The West Area is rich in nature, so having insect repellent spray is definitely a good idea.

Wearing boots is essential on rainy days at Spoon.

[Other Notes]

Depending on your walking pace, it takes about 40 to 60 minutes for adults to walk from GP Square to the dead end of the west area.

Enjoy food and drinks in moderation, and be aware of the location of the restrooms.

The wait time for the restroom is long, so please go early!
