Photographer Area Ticket

Photography area

Designated points for photography have been established in advance, and entry and photography are permitted in those areas. These include the top row of B2 seats, the S-curve exclusive area, the top row of D-5 seats, D-1 (temporary photo space), the exclusive area for E seats, the exclusive areas at the hairpin (two locations), and the exclusive area at the spoon. There are three types of area tickets, each with different photography areas allowed.

Availability of Cloakroom

When you try to take serious race photos, you tend to have a lot of camera equipment and other belongings. You can move around the admission area during the session to take photos, but it often becomes inconvenient due to the luggage. Therefore, a cloakroom has been set up at the GP Square. If you want to leave your belongings there and take only the necessary equipment for shooting, you need to purchase both a photographer area ticket and the cloakroom service at the same time.

You can capture machines diving into the first corner from the main straight. Especially at the start, you can photograph the scene where the machines come to the first corner while fiercely competing for position. However, since the distance between the course and the shooting point is far, it is highly likely that you will not be able to take good photos without a large telephoto lens. There is also the advantage that access from GP Square is the closest, allowing direct access to the stands from the first corner gate. Only those who have purchased tickets classified as "B2・Hairpin Entrance Allowed" can enter this B2 area. Since 2019, ① "B2-3" and ② "B2-1・2" have become separate areas with a price difference.
* The area in front of the hairpin permanent seats requires a "Hairpin Plus" ticket.

③C・D-5・D-1 (Temporary Photo Space) E・M・Hairpin Admission Area
Since the introduction of the photographer area ticket, the hairpin shooting area has become very popular. The distance between the course and the shooting point is relatively close, and since it is a corner where the machine's speed decreases, those without a telephoto lens can shoot without worry. Although it is farther from GP Square, if you use the nearby 130R Oasis as a rest base, you can comfortably spend the day. Since 2017, entry to the permanent area in front of Hairpin Seat I requires a "Hairpin Plus" ticket. Given its popularity, the "Hairpin Plus" tickets are sure to sell out.
※ Tickets for "C・D-5・D-1 (Temporary Photo Space) E・M Admission Allowed" are only valid for photography in the hairpin shooting area (excluding Hairpin Plus) on Friday.

④C・D-5・D-1 (Temporary Photo Space) E・M Admission Allowed
A popular photography spot for amateur photographers even in domestic races. Especially at the reverse bank, if the weather is good, you can take photos with Ise Bay and Suzuka city in the background. Additionally, the distance is not too far, so it is possible to take photos to some extent even without a large telephoto lens. However, due to the high speed of the F1 cornering, it may be difficult to focus at first, and you might struggle a bit.
Since there is a reverse bank oasis nearby, it can be utilized during breaks other than the sessions. Additionally, in the afternoon when the qualifying and final races take place, the sunlight will be favorable, allowing for photography without the need for detailed considerations like the position of the sun.

It is possible to take photos in the dedicated shooting area next to the Spoon Curve and M Area. Due to the distance from the course, it may be difficult to take photos without a large telephoto lens. You can capture machines in the opposite direction of the S-curve and reverse bank, which will create a different atmosphere in the photos. Moving from GP Square to Spoon with camera equipment will take time and require considerable effort, but if you can use the Spoon Gate, you can access it immediately.

Since 2017, the area from 130R to before the chicane has been established. It is a point where you can capture the braking just before the chicane up close.
