Honda Racing School
What is Suzuka?

Training athletes who excel in world-class motorsports

This is a racing school supervised by Honda Racing, aimed at developing riders and drivers active both domestically and internationally.

We have a system in place that allows us to provide comprehensive instruction from school to practical application,
aiming to develop athletes who excel not only in riding/driving skills but also in mental and personal aspects,
to compete at the top level in the world.

Japan plays an important role in various motorsports scenes, including research and development of high-performance machines and hosting world championships.

As a result, young people in Japan have begun to show their skills in global motorsports.

SUZUKA CIRCUIT, which has hosted 2 wheels and 4 wheels Motorsports including F1,
has been ahead of its time,
and opened the "SUZUKA CIRCUIT RACING SCHOOL JUNIOR (now HRS Suzuka Moto Class)" in 1992.
In 1993, the next-generation driver training institution
"SUZUKA CIRCUIT RACING SCHOOL KART (now HRS Suzuka Kart class) has ended its activities as of 2024."
Then, in 1995, we opened the "SUZUKA CIRCUIT RACING SCHOOL FORMULA (now HRS Suzuka Formula class)" aimed at serious formula driver training, which was the only one of its kind in Japan at the time.

Currently, it produces many athletes who are active in top categories both domestically and internationally, including Europe and Asia.

Our school aims to nurture riders who can excel in the IATC※1, which serves as a gateway for future MotoGP™ riders. The "Moto Class Basic Course" primarily involves training on the South Course with the CBR250R, where students will learn the fundamentals. The following year, outstanding students will be selected for the Advance Course. Using the NSF250R, which is utilized in the Asia Talent Cup, students will gain various experiences through the Suzuka Sunday Road Race and physical training. Subsequently, some of the top-performing students will challenge the IATC※1 as scholarship students of HRS Suzuka.
Many students aim to become MotoGP™ Riders when they enroll, but there are also students who want to learn from the basics. We will teach you the fundamentals properly, including braking, clutch operation, and how to use your body to lean the bike, so you can rest assured. For students who want to seriously compete in races, we provide guidance not only on technical skills, as the world will be the stage, but also on developing the ability to express themselves. We assess each student's goals, the issues they face, and the obstacles they encounter, and we strive to provide instruction that is suitable for each student.
There are graduates who are still competing in the top domestic JSB1000 class, as well as those racing internationally. Having a goal makes a person stronger. After enrolling, many students have set even higher goals.
We sincerely want to work together as a team of instructors to help you achieve your goals faster through enjoyable sports. Let's make that dream come true together.

Racing karts are the first entry point into motorsports, but professional racing drivers also use racing karts for training. Essentially, karts are very simple machines consisting only of tires, a frame, and an engine. With no complex structures, they are perfect for training racing skills and driving racing karts.
In the Basic Course, students learn the fundamentals of driving, and those who have gained strength through race-style driving will advance to the Advance Class. This is the main feature. In the Advance Class, students drive karts in the morning and formula cars in the afternoon, and even in the regular Racing Kart class, they can race alongside professional drivers who have experienced the world. I believe there is so much to learn from this, and there is no better environment to refine oneself.
The biggest appeal of the formula class is that top Honda drivers who are active in various races, including Super Formula, and instructors who have seen the world are always watching over the students. Additionally, it serves as a stage where students can independently seek out challenges and issues found during races, and work to elevate their skills.
Drivers who work hard and achieve results will have the next level of the world prepared for them. Even if they do not achieve good results, there are students who continue to practice and train without giving up, trying again the following year. Let's aim for the world together, betting on our potential!
