SUZUKA Enjoy A License

The Suzuka Enjoy A-License is the perfect program for those who want to try racing!

To participate in the race, a domestic A license (commonly known as A license) issued by JAF is required, but you can obtain that A license in just one day.

We will conduct a classroom training session to acquire the knowledge necessary for obtaining an A license. After the training, there will be a written exam, but it is not difficult as it covers rules and etiquette.

If you pass the written exam, the next step is practical training and a practical exam. After practicing under the guidance of an instructor, it will be conducted. You will pass if you can follow the instructions of the flags displayed during driving and adhere to proper etiquette. You will then be able to proudly become a racing driver.

The driving lessons use your own car, but no special modifications are necessary. Additionally, the lessons are conducted by professional drivers who are well-acquainted with SUZUKA CIRCUIT, so you can participate in the program with peace of mind.

The course fee does not include lunch.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations can be made through the membership system (Shikumi Net), but the following cancellation policy applies.
*In the case of convenience store payments, there will be no refunds after the payment is completed.
・From application until January 2, 2025 (Thu) 23:59... Free
・From January 3, 2025 (Fri) 0:00 to January 6, 2025 (Mon) 23:59 ... 50%
・January 7, 2025 (Tue) after 0:00 ... 100%

○Note
To obtain a license, it is necessary to attend a JAF-approved seminar and pass both the written and practical tests. If you do not pass, you will not be able to obtain the license. Additionally, the course fee will not be refunded, so thank you for your understanding.
If you have more than 50 minutes of driving experience at JAF-approved circuits other than SUZUKA CIRCUIT, please bring proof of driving time from that circuit.

○Important Notes for Participation
Participants are requested to read the following carefully for safety considerations before joining.

○Eligibility

• ・Must possess a regular driver's license or higher.
• ・Must be a JAF individual member.
  　* Family members are requested to complete the switch procedure in advance on their own.
• ・SMSC Membership Benefits.
  　* On the day of the course, you must hold a valid 4 wheels or Challenge Club license.
• ・Those who meet either condition 1 or 2 below.
  ① Individuals who have a record of "more than 50 minutes of sports driving at a JAF certified circuit" within the past 2 years. (Proof of driving experience must be brought)
  ② Individuals who have a record of "completion in a JAF certified speed event" within the past 2 years. (Proof of completion must be brought)

* Those who have a disability certificate must obtain their own JAF "Course Acceptance" in advance (by the event date).

Required Items for Participation in Driving
Helmet (full face or jet type, suitable for 2 wheels, half cap type not allowed) / Racing gloves (must protect the entire area from fingertips to wrists) / Athletic shoes (sneakers, etc.) / Long sleeves and long pants required (easy-to-move items like jeans and sweatshirts)

○ Participating Vehicles
4 wheels vehicles that can run on public roads within the validity period of the vehicle inspection, excluding SUVs, RVs, light vehicles, 1BOX, and minivans.
Slick tires, rain tires, and other race-specific tires are not allowed. Open cars must be equipped with a rear 4-point or more roll bar.

*If you have any questions, please be sure to contact the SMSC office in advance. If it is discovered on the day of the Enjoy A-License that the vehicle does not meet the regulations, you will not be able to participate in the lesson.
*Participation by rental car is not allowed.
* There will be practical training on the Racing Course. Both AT and MT vehicles are acceptable, but there may be cases where vehicles unsuitable for circuit driving cannot participate. If you have any questions, please contact SMSC in advance.
