Traditional Starting Method: "Le Mans Start"

At the start signal, the Rider dashes across the course to their machine, mounts it, and takes off.
This powerful starting method is known as the "Le Mans-style start." The name comes from its long use in the French endurance race, the "24 Hours of Le Mans."

The machines are parked on the pit side. Riders line up on the opposite side of the course and, at the start signal, run to their machines and jump on.
The sight of over 50 bikes launching all at once is simply breathtaking.

What Kind of Event?

This is one of Japan's largest two-wheeled motorsports events, which has recorded over 350,000 visitors during the event period in the past. It is a "summer tradition" that wraps midsummer Suzuka in excitement, enjoyable for people of all ages and genders.
